Center of Healing and Wholeness (COHAW)

It is the desire of COHAW to provide a scholarship to help women to become more effective in helping the church to meet the need of expanding the kingdom of God.  Founded in honor of the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Johnnie M. Brown (1924 – 2004), the purpose of the Rev. Dr. Johnnie M. This scholarship is named for and honors Rev. Dr. Johnnie M. Brown.  She was born on January 9th, 1924, just outside of Montgomery, Alabama, in Phoenix, and grew up in Birmingham.

Rev. Dr. Brown became an international evangelist, outstanding preacher, pastor, counselor and was one truly committed to the teachings of the Bible. Her greatest joy was seeing people coming to Christ and accepting Him as their personal savior.

The Bible proclaims, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and you sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” Joel 2:28
